KOMPETENCE VODIJ V DIGITALNI DOBI

V današnjem svetu, tako imenovani digitalni dobi ali 4. industrijski revoluciji spremembe potekajo s tehnološko usmerjenim preoblikovanjem, kot so socialna omrežja, Big Data tehnologije, poslovanje v oblaku, internet stvari, robotizacija itd. Vse to močno posega v vse vidike poklicnega in zasebnega življenja, saj nove tehnologije in orodja omogočajo izjemno mobilnost, delo od koder koli in kadar koli, obenem pa vplivajo tudi na spremembo načina razmišljanja, vedenja in dela samega.

Tudi področje vodenja močno občuti vpliv značilnosti digitalne dobe, saj se zahteva nov, dodaten spekter kompetenc. V digitalni dobi se vodje soočajo z navidezno realnostjo in virtualnimi skupinami, upravljanjem neznanega, biti morajo miselno prožni (kognitivno fleksibilnost), hitro razpoznavati priložnosti, obvladovati hitrost, ustvarjati uporabniško izkušnjo v realnem času, biti digitalno ustvarjalni in še bi lahko naštevali.

Ta evolucija vodenja nas je spodbudila raziskati katere so tiste kompetence vodij v digitalni dobi, ki jih vodje zaznavajo kot pomembne.

Namen raziskave Kompetence vodij v digitalni dobije preučiti:

• kako se spreminjajo zemljevidi kompetenc vodij
• kakšne nove kompetence vodje potrebujejo v dobi 4. industrijske revolucije
• do kakšne mere zaznavajo potrebno po razvoju novih kompetenc in
• na kakšen način pristopajo k razvoju potrebnih kompetenc.

Pri oblikovanju raziskovalnega vprašalnika smo preučili sodobne trende digitalne dobe in novih zahtev vodenja kot se tudi upoštevali kompetenčni okvir Evropske komisije, kjer so na področju digitalne kompetentnosti izpostavili pet področij, ki opisujejo znanja in spretnosti “digitalno spretnega državljana”

THE LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES IN DIGITAL ERA

In today world, so called digital era or 4th Industrial revolution, where the changes are propelled by technology-driven transformation, such as social networks, big data analysis, cloud, the Internet of things, robots … have greatly interfered with all aspects of professional as well as private life of all of us, as they enable exceptional mobility, work from anywhere and at any time, change the way people think, behave and work.

Digital era requires a whole new set of competencies in addition to those traditionally classified as IQ and EQ competencies. In digital era people are facing with virtual task and virtual teams, managing unknown, they should possess cognitive flexibility (mind map), discern and speed, creating real time user experience, digital inspiration and creativity … Today we are therefore challenged to develop and strengthen new kind of intelligence, so called Digital Intelligence (DI) for quality life in the digital era.

The paper will examine the understanding and meaning of competencies and explore the lifelong development process of competencies especially in adulthood. We will discover the new digital world and try to find out what has been change and what kind of new competencies requires 4th Industrial revolution.

The purpose of research The leadership competencies in digital era is to explore:

• how are changing the leadership competencies maps
• what kind of new competencies do leaders need in 4th industrial revolution
• to which extend they perceive the need for developing new competencies
• how they develop new competencies

By designing the questionnaire we have studied the modern trends of digital era and new leadership requirements as well we used the competencies framework of European commission, which expose fife areas of “digitally skilled citizen”.

The findings of our research will be presented on the on 5th International Conference on Management and Organization – MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION IN THE DIGITAL SOCIETY.
